Cyber Defence Analyst
Role Overview:
The Cyber Defence Analyst at Globenova AI will beresponsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threatstargeting Canada's defence infrastructure. This role involves workingclosely with cybersecurity and AI teams to develop and implement AI-driventhreat detection systems, conduct vulnerability assessments, and performpenetration testing. The analyst will also utilize LLMs and LQMs for real-timethreat analysis, prepare incident reports, and provide recommendations toenhance the defence posture of Canada’smilitary and intelligence agencies.
Responsibilities:
● Monitor and analyze securityevents to detect and respond to cyber threats targeting defence infrastructure.
● Develop and implementstrategies to protect against advanced persistent threats (APTs) and othercyber attacks.
● Work with cybersecurity and AIteams to design and deploy AI-driven threat detection systems.
● Conduct vulnerabilityassessments and penetration testing.
● Utilize LLMs and LQMs forreal-time threat analysis and response.
● Prepare detailed reports onsecurity incidents and provide recommendations for improving defence posture.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree inCybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
● 5+ years of experience incybersecurity, with a focus on defence applications.
● Strong understanding of cyberthreat landscape and defence mechanisms.
● Experience with intrusiondetection systems (IDS), SIEM, and other cybersecurity tools.
● Knowledge of AI applications incybersecurity, including LLMs and LQMs.
● Security clearance andsuccessful completion of background checks will be required.
