Role Overview:

The Chief AI Officer (CAIO) atGlobenova AI will lead the strategic integration of artificial intelligenceinto Canada’s defence  and intelligenceoperations. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader to design, implement,and oversee AI-driven solutions that address complex defence  challenges. The CAIO will foster collaborationacross cross-functional teams, advance innovation in areas such as LLMs andcybersecurity, and cultivate partnerships with Canadian defence  agencies and research institutions. This roledemands a deep understanding of defence  needs, technical expertise, and a commitmentto operational excellence in high-security environments.

Responsibilities:

●    Lead and develop AI strategyacross defence  and intelligenceinitiatives.

●    Drive the design, development,and implementation of AI-driven defence  solutions.

●    Manage AI and machine learningprojects from inception to deployment, ensuring they meet Canadian defence  and intelligence needs.

●    Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including defence , intelligence, and cybersecurityexperts, to develop tailored AI solutions.

●    Provide leadership andmentorship to the AI team and drive innovation.

●    Work with stakeholders tointegrate cutting-edge AI technologies, such as LLMs and LQMs, into defence operations and intelligence analysisprocesses.

●    Develop strategic partnershipsand collaborations with Canadian defence  agencies, research institutions, andtechnology partners.

●    Lead the design andimplementation of AI-driven systems to improve mission readiness, cyber defence, and intelligence gathering.

Requirements:

●    10+ years of experience in AIleadership, ideally within the defence  or intelligence sectors.

●    Proven track record ofimplementing AI solutions in complex, high-stakes environments.

●    Strong understanding ofCanadian defence  and intelligencepolicies and technologies.

●    Expertise in Large LanguageModels (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Language Quality Models(LQMs).

●    Excellent communication andleadership skills.

●    Ability to navigate and lead ina high-security, sensitive information environment.

●    Security clearance and successfulcompletion of background checks willbe required.
